E60 sat nav version and software???

[gilford]

I've got a 2006 M5 which has a 2006 sat nav DVD with the speed camera "extra" added to the disc

Is this the latest DVD disc? A friend of mine has just got a 2009 disc for his E46 M3 and I was just wondering if there was an update for my motor?

Yes, there is a 2009-01 disc available for Professional and Business navigation. Supposedly supports 7 digit postcode. You can buy from a dealer, Ebay or "acquire" a copy of the DVD on the internet. Part number is 65 90 2 149 370 and is probably the same disc your mate has if you want to check it works first.
