As I have already mention had my 55 plate Standard 5.7 Monaro a month now. Ive done less than 1000miles (total mileage is 30K) Yesterday I did a total round trip of about 30 Miles. I came back went to reverse it in my drive i could not get it into reverse. Eventualy got it in. About 3 hours later had to reverse it into the garage same problem possibly worse took about 2 mins. Could Select other gears but would not go into reverse.
Been out this morning no problems selectin reverse!
Any ideas? Car is still under a network Q warrenty

They're all like that believe it or not.
The common thing to do is put it in 3rd first and then without lifting the clutch move it over to reverse.

Both boxes I have had bulk into 1st and 2nd but not really reverse. Reverse is always OK. There is a reverse lock out solenoid. If trying the other gears first does not help, then maybe the problem lies with the solenoid. Ignition needs to be on to get into reverse.

Reverse should not be hard to select if the lockout solenoid is working.

Reverse is the only gear I've ever had problems with, will have to have a word with Roger next time I see him.
