Anyone have experience of adding an IPod connection to the M3 Widescreen set up?

Looking for one that will give total control from the MFSW

Cool

Thats the one I'd favoured as all the others seem a little half hearted and dont integrate properly

Thanks for your comment

I dont have an Ipod (I prefer good quality sound), and was thinking of getting one of these for my '01 with mkIII nav.

It may not be integrated into the nav, but I dont mind fiddling with my sony player myself, with a aux wire neatly fed through to the centre console. Apparently it also keeps the use of the cd changer.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I have the Intravee II and it's the best there is I believe. However it's still not ideal.

It will only show 511 of either artist, playlist, albums etc. If you have a huge collection it's very slow to search. I can live with it and have setup playlists. My g/f hates it and would get on better with an AUX connection in the glovebox which is a very low cost alternative.

My ipod touch does not charge and needs switching on as it goes into deep sleep. However the older ipods don't have this problem.

It's still good and it's nice to have all the buttons working etc. and it's very neat in the boot but don't have very high expectations and you won't be dissapointed.
