selling S14a - what next? Suggestions please!
Discussion
Had my lovely 200sx for a couple of years now and it's getting time for a change. Looking for something that's preferably jap, with boot room and room enough to fit a child's car seat in in the future. I'd have the money I get out of my 200sx to put into a new motor - love my current car so much this is a really hard decision and so feel pretty stuck for choice (not interested in a scooby). Any suggestions? Many thanks!
Great suggestion, thanks so much. Seems to tick all the boxes in what I'm looking for! I'm gonna take a look at a couple - if anyone's any comments/ opinions on what they drive like (obviously gonna be quite a different drive to the s14 but I've heard they're very fun handling?), any typical problems with them etc I'd really appreciate it! Cheers

An Accord Type R has got better handling than a standard S14 and similar power. But you dont get the torque that you do from the s14, when you get the engine past 5000rpm into VTEC it pulls really well though. Really really good cars.

Any reason why it has to be a Jap car? What are you after from the car, does it need to have 4 doors? or would a bigger 2+2 coupe be ok?
Are you after fast, fun or both? Or somthing practical?
What sort of budget?
Not that I have anything against an Accord, but I personally think you can buy a lot faster, more fun and interesting.

But seriously why? I've had a 200SX and currently got a small Nissan Coupe, my Bro has had a Celica and Pulsar. I'm not against Jap cars, but simply being Jap doesn't mean its a good car IMO, it takes something more.

MG ZS180?
V8 Jag?
Lexus 400?
BMW?
As I said how many doors does it need and what kind of budget. Not that the Accord is a bad car, but even compared to a 200SX its pretty dull (IMO)

I'm sure the Accord is a fine car (how much are they again?), I just personally think they are rather dull looking and lacking in excitment and/or potential and ability.
ITR on the other - love these, but then not so practical.
