Not a direct response, but try giving these people a call: http://www.dudrich.co.uk/index.php

I've rented two garages off them and, while they were the usual pokey lockups, they have a good selection and they're very easy to deal with.

Pretty reasonable. You have to alert them to any issues - simply because they're absentee landlords/agents I suppose - but they always responded to any issue promptly afterwards.

If you can find some old deer who hasn't driven since 1967 with a spare garage in their retirement flats that's usually the cheapest solution. A company like the above is obviously the most convenient way of doing it though. You do need to take a look at the garages though, they vary considerably - they don't do official viewings, but they should give you the full address and garage number if you phone up.

No... ironically, I'm in the market for a lock up myself too. Perhaps we should get together and buy a block of lock ups...

Yeh ive been looking about at the agencies for a double garage or workshop but theres nothing about, looked at a single garage for about 80 ppm but not much you can do without any power and little room.... Also most are built onto peoples houses so they prob wouldnt like the noise of you working on your cars there... Cant find any workshops or lockups around here tho frown

Was thinking about a workshop share but even then most of the space available is in industrial units with silly rates.

Damn me for buying a flat!
