RS4 !! What year's the best

OK, so just joined this site, currently running a Mer W124 500E 1992, which is great, but always wanted an RS4, Red or Sprint Blue of course.

Question is what years is best 2006/2007/2008

Let me know all you RS4 owners, what do you think

Caution, late 07 cars don't have the 'tech pack' but just the Sat Nav as this was reduced to £500 option.

Going to look at one this week, 2007 plate in Missano Red. what should I be looking out for.

Good point but to state more correctly:

early 07 cars and before offered a 'tech pack' as an option - this was satnav + cd changer + adaptive (swivel) headlights. Rare to find an RS4 without tech pack as satnav is a must-have option and the pack represented a £300 saving. If you do find one avoid it like the plague!!

late 07 cars did not offer 'tech pack' as an option as satnav on all A4 fell to £500 instead of previous £1800 ish. Therefore made no sense to offer tech apck as adding 3 options individually was much cheaper; you will usually find most later cars have satnav, the CD changer ot the (crap) ipod controller, but some may not have gone for the adaptive lights
