Dammit...just bought my boy ANOTHER highly expensive electric guitar yesterday too.
Knowing my luck I'd bolt it on the wrong way round and suck all me engine internals out.
Is that AFM a flapper then ? Mine's a 5AM.
Definitely worth further investigation though...Sprintex ?
Do you need to alter compression ratio ?

According to some paperwork i have on my SX the compression ratio is reduced to 9.5:1.

Hi Rob, out of interest do you know how much boost your Sprintex makes?Rob

Considering having a new nose wheel milled up for the charger, to run a bit more boost, most literature suggests that 7psi is about the limit for a standard bottom end.

I think the later Wedges are no more than that anyway, aren't they ? Rob

Also I've seen my current cam (218) being specced for s/c use.

Most Wedges should have a 9.75-1 compression ratio, using composite head gaskests can bring that down to around 9.2-1.
It is generally thought that the Land/Rangerover block is good for supercharging due to the low compression ratio of 8.75-1
You can get caught up in all sorts of figures and worries when considering forced induction, but the only way to find out if it's a good idea is to bite the bullet and fit one........and feel the torque! 308lbs of torque on my 3.5L and thats available for most of the useable rev range.
