There's another in the background, and an M3 beside it. Is this a dealer? Although i doubt it if it's on ebay.

Reason for selling=too many points!

911 turbo with X50 and too many points. Do you think there might be a conection?

Probably starting a project of modifying a few speed jumps and cameras. An expensive way to do the cameras though.

I notice the reserve has not yet been met... No wonder at that price! Don't know why he says it cost £107,000 though, mine is almost identical spec (his has aero kit, but mine also has park assist, leather steering wheel, ali pack with tail pipes and cost 4k less... and I bought in September after the slight price rise).

BTW, sorry not to get to the Pie bash folks... 'Mrs Get' had really bad flu, and I had to do the Dr bit.

(edited to mention that adding a tracker actually made it 3k less).

Must have been a lot of points - normally 12 is good enough for only a month ban - not enough reason to sell everything? Also no reason given for the other 996 - hmmm!

Me thinks a little to much of the falling over juice or a firesale before buggering off to Brazil. Would suggest that all finances are checked before parting with the folding stuff.

Perhaps JamieB can fill us in if he is sucessful

Beats me why anyone bids the price up so early in the auction.IMO the fun will be in the last few minute before the auction ends as I'm sute there will be lots of interest in these X50 cars. It even looks as if there's a couple of dealers on there already bidding the price up.

Just a small point. 12 points under totting up normal gives the victim a six month driving ban unless he can demonstrate financial hardship eg loss of job etc, or you're a welsh politician.

DAZ, not wishing to question this, however are you sure this is right. 6 months for just 12 points!!

I'm pretty sure that this is the case. Unless you can persuade the magistrates to reduce it with mitigating circumstances, such as loss of job etc.

Thanks DAZ, I'm still shocked.

I have had 2 speeding fines (Wiltshire) in the last 6 months. Making a grand total of 4 in the last 24 years. If I carry on like this I will be having a very long holiday around August next year.

The length of ban is up to the judge - case in point ,Kris Meeke got 12 months ban under toting up procedures when caught speeding on the public stages of the welsh WRC rally according to [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/3257523.stm]
