Guys,
Have just purchased a vehicle with a Pioneer AVIC-F 900 BT unit installed, unfortunately no user instructions came with it, have looked at downloading off the web, but it's 172 pages long, so not very practical.
Does anyone know of anywhere where I might be able to obtain said manual.
Thanx,
Steve.

On from this, have downloaded a "quick start guide", tried to download my phone book from my N95 8gb. phone but won't let me do it.
followed instructions, but the two devices won't communicate, any ideas.
Thanx,
Steve.

Steve, I am also considering the AVIC, how are you getting on with it. I am hearing some concerning stories though, re very annoying button sounds and camera alert sounds?
Have you got over these with mods?
Cheers.

To be quite honest I have not spent a lot of time playing with it, but eventually got the discs and paperwork through from previous owner, so must sit down and go through some stuff.
If it wasn't already in the vehicle then I think I would go for something a bit cheaper, seems like a lot of money for what it is, and yes there are issues, keeps locking up on me, and in London, the sat nav is very slow to correct itself.
And you are correct about the touch screen, sometimes a pain to hit the buttons in the right place.
Hope this helps.
Steve.

I don't know where your unit fits into the range, but I've had both an Avic-X1 and X3 and have found them excellent.

The only issue I ever had was coming out of Monaco with all the switchbacks and mountains, it got a little confused to which part of the road I was actually on.
