Illegal supervision of a learner...
Discussion
Ok, I have been asked by a girl (a rather cute one too
) to spend some time with her while she practices driving. She has her provisional and is insured on her own car etc, but I haven't had my licence for 3 years yet, though I am over 21. According to the DVLA site, those are the requirments of the person accompanying the learner.
Should I just forget the idea right away? If we are stopped am I likely to be asked for ID and then fined for not having had my licence longer. Or if there was an accident would I be required to submit my details and then void the insurance?
Normally I would just say no, but her family treat her pretty crappy and won't go with her and she doesn't have many friends with licences in the area.
Any info greatly appreciated.
