Is it too late to get tickets to a decent campsite?

I have been wanting to go Le Mans for years but this year is the first year that I will be able to go.

Iv just been on the beermountain website have have been looking through the various campsites and what they recommend. The campsite that I am interested in going to are;
-Beausejour
-Bleu
-Houx
-Houx Annexe
-Karting Nord
-Maison Blanche
-Technoparc

Have I missed any decent campsites? What would you recommend and where can I get ticket for these from?

Check out Guy at White Rabbit Racing he does a storming camp site at Le Mans

Go and have a look at www.Beermountain.com website, read up what campsite you would like to stay in, then have a look at the ACO site for correct prices, then contact tour operators, Have a chair ready in case you fall over when they tell you how much they want! Also look on eBay for camping tickets But make sure you are looking at tickets for the Le Man 24 Hr Car race

We booked a few days ago with SpeedChills. At they time they had Beausejour, Bleu and their own private camping within BSJ. Having used them in the past i'm happy to recommend them.

If you want location as well as security and some hospitality with private loos and marquee etc, then Team Langoustine is highly recommended.

i went with them lastyear on my first le mans and had a great time.
a little pricey but at least you get good facilities and a great croud of people, just don't expect any peace and quiet on sunday night.

i'm going with them again this year, the campsite is on Beausjour which is about 5mins walk from Porche curves, bring a pushbike, you'll understand what i mean after you've been at le mans a day.

also don't panic, Whiterabbit haven't sent out the invites to purchase campsite tickets yet and i'm sure they'll be plently of spare places left in a months time.

After going with WRR last year we have booked with the pistonheads 1st tickets thing this year (the campsite is closer to where I want to be). The pricing is about the same for us. I am sure you'll get great service from either.

Would anybody be able to offer some advice as to which campsite would be best for a group of youngish petrolheads (not tts/chavs) that want to enjoy the atmosphere and get in with the spirit of the event.

The site is pretty irrelevant, it's what you make of it that matters. I've stayed at BSJ, HA, Karting and this year will be in TR. Each site has been just as good as the rest, we just like change. Each site has it's element of Brit's, Danes, Dutch who all get on, each site has it's numpty's. If you get off site and watch the racing, go to the CBW, Arnage, view at Mulsanne, Village etc it makes no odds which site you are on.

I would say, as an intro you could do a lot worse than go with white rabbit, if there are more than a couple per car it will work out pretty cost effective. And there is a good atmosphere in the camp so you'll be with a load of like minded people.

Failing that I suspect the pistonheads 1st tickets will be pretty similar, or failing that try and get some numbered pitches next to each other on one of the sites that supports that.

Either way you'll have a stunning time.

I had a look at the WRR website yesterday and I have to agree that seems the way forward, decent prices if there are few of you in 1 car.

With out a doubt Team Langoustine has the best site, great reviews from last year, some of the other organisers were not very good, camp sites miles away from the action, TL site is right by the track, has best facilities and a great bar...
The guys that run it have been going for years and know their stuff, and are a great bunch of lads.......

Dont go second best....were not

Avoid the louder sites if that's not your cup of tea. Houx Annexe is probably not for you if people being rowdy is a problem.

(note: it isn't for me or my lot, which is why we'll be back there for the 4th consecutive year this year! )
