I currently have agreed value insurance through Footman james,i am happy with this,i use them for my other vehicles, and i have no issues with them at all.

My question is this. Every two years they require an endorsed 'vehicle condition form' showing its current value, this is done via club lotus,i have no problems with this process, but does this mean i have to continue to be a CL member to get FJ insurance?
Assume this would not be the case and would like examples of how you can get agreed value insurance by other means. Am a bit in the dark over this.

Not looking to start another anti-CL topic, please!
They know where i live...

Thanks,

PAUL

Basically yes, they have a agreedment with CL.

I used Classicline with a agreed value (no proof required) and paid £80 less than FJ

Thats a shame then,as i find FJ very easy to deal with.
Thinking about it,the Esprit is the only policy i have with them at the moment(i sometimes run a banger for convenience cause my work wheels contain all my tools etc). This means they currently have my currently unused full no claims on file.
Does this mean FJ have me by the balls too?

Does 'no proof' mean you simply insure an agreed value of money?,this is how i always thought it should work.

As i'm currently selling my car,i will not hold any policies until i get my next Esprit. Should i decide for any reason to move insurers, are FJ legally required to give me my proof of no claims?

When you leave FJ you will have to ask for a letter confirming your NCB. If there was a gap your next insurer will ask why, in my case I stated that the Esprit was not my first car and I had sold the car which had the NCB 6 months before.

'no proof' does mean you simply insure an agreed value of money, I insured my Esprit for 13k.

Sadly, this question may have been better timed.
Graham Arnold died yesterday.

I know he did the valuations for FJ,so i may be moving insurers for reasons that i would rather not so.
Am i right in thinking he WAS Club Lotus?

Thoughts to his family,
