What is your favourite (modern) PC driving sim?

As the title really. Which is the most fun to play, most realistic etc and why?

I haven't played iracing, but my favourite in this list is GT Legends.

GTR2.
Although I haven't played iRacing or Live for Speed...
GTR Evo is pretty damn good too; the inclusion of Caterhams is great fun!

I voted for GTR2 but technically my favourite is GTR Evo.

I voted LFS, because its the only one I've ever spent any proper time on, and I could kill hours drifting around an empty track.

well, iRacing is definitely the most realistic sim and ultimately the most satisfying I've played, but at the moment I'm playing GTR-evo a lot more as I don't have the time to invest in iRacing these day. Despite this, if I could have only 1 racing game it would be GTL! most fun you can have on a computer without...well....you know....

incidentally, part of reason GTR-evos gets regular use is the moddability - i've now got all the GTL cars loaded into it....the 76 class 911-rsr on the 'ring is a real handful but when you get it right!

As well as it's own modded cars and tracks rFactor has all the GTR2/GTL cars converted over to it a well

Yep, LFS for me too. It's not the one I play the most, but that is simply down to the people I know playing other games. LFS is brilliant from the first time you play it, until you master a track. Simply stunning game.

iRacing is my 2nd fave, being the most realistic.

Then onto GTL, rFactor, GTR2, etc, which are all really the same game/engine/feel.

Hmmm is that as simple as the normal adding new cars to the library?
I'd quite like to take some of the old stuff around the 'ring!

yep, nogripracing has them, you have to re-download them all then install them in the usual way. also you can get the current M3 road car (taken from the M3 challenge free game by the same ppl) which is great fun and a good match for the R8.
