in the smart repair world the guys will use differing texture and plastic paint colour aerosols made by upol etal.they will come up very nice indeed if you find a good tech...

Unfortunately, without retexturing, you will never get an acceptable result. Buying the plastic filler, texture spray and correct plastic preparation products and paint, will set you back quite a bit. Plus, there's still the chance that you will screw it up anyway!

Any competant SMART repairer will be able to give you a result like new without the hassle of changing the item. You should expect to pay £60-100 for the job if it's a relatively manageable area - a whole bumper will obviously be more.
