Any wedge owners in the vicinity of Hebden Bridge?

I've just had my P&J Lotus Excel written off by a third party and I'm toying with the idea of a wedge as a daily driver. Would like to meet up with someone who knows the cars for a chat re the pros and cons..

Anyone had experience of both Excel/eclat/elite versus wedge as daily drivers?
