Don't use full club unles the wheels are straight! Haven't driven an Elise but certainly with a TVR the accelerator is not an on/off switch but an infinitely progressive device directly proportional to speed - you will soon see what I mean.

From one medic to another - good choice of car!! Enjoy it - it may not handle as well as a Lotus, but it's a mental car in other ways, and at least you can get in and out, and the roof is water tight!

If you're ever around Sheffield, give us a shout!

Heh, I used to work in a pharma company - with propofol. Who are you with? Just being nosey! AZ? I used to work there in QA many moons ago.

I expect to see you and the new beast at the Swan in the future!!!

Nubbin - yeh AZ..many fond memories of 2,6 di-isopropylphenol!

Well the car is in the drive...

GOOD GOD.

What a fantastic car - anyone even thinking about it you will not regret it.

Granted it's only been one afternoon thus far but from what I've seen / heard / felt this is going to be a good relationship!

Few rattles and loose trim but otherwise seems ok...the cornering is obviouslty not quite elise-like but the stright line acceleration is nothing short of thunderous.

Not regretting it one bit.

cheers
