I'm talking about new members coming on here and talking ste. Maybe not an immediate ban, but possibly a "quiet word" as you guys call it.

I'm writing this because that Lucie...x person is obviously posting tripe on very old threads and generally winding people up.

What's the general consensus on this?

Why? It's a different person.

The one banned was the piss-take profile of the one you posted. Some morons feel the need to do this but we remove their new profiles then take a decision as to remove their normal/main profiles as well. We are still undecided on banning the person who created that 2nd profile.

I'll wager a few things, based on personal experience of systems like it.

Hardware (or mac) generated 'signature', ip logging, password similarities, cookie tracking and if you're really clever a system that follows if more than 1 user comes from the same ip at once.
