For reasons I cant really discuss on here. Anyway I think that my Cerb will have to go as I have some financial problems aswell, so expect to see her appearing in the classifieds soon, it really breaks my heart to have to do it.

Sorry to hear that Ocean. 'Nil carborundum' etc and if you get a V8S you'll get plenty of change and still be far better off car-wise than nearly everyone. Cars are more more reliable than people....

It can only get better, mate. Most people buy their first TVR after a divorce/split, so it's a shame you're going the other way (if that's the cause of the glumness). Cheer up - it's never as bad as you think, and you'll still have plenty of (virtual) friends on here!

I have lost count on how many blokes have bought a TVR with their mate after getting a divorce.

They get half and go and buy a little house with frilly curtains.

He goes out and buys a totally spanking TVR and drives everywhere in it.

He then goes to work in a snotter for £500-1500.

Three years later you see the same guy with his new girl friend wanting to sell it as he has just got married again.

I had to sell my Cerb due to pressure from the wife. She just couldn't trust it to drive it herself (it had a habbit of acting up for her - never for me, it knew )

When it went, I had to go indoors to shed a tear or two but promised to get myself another one. Only trouble is, no other Cerb looks as good or drives aswell as what mine did. Only way round it would be to buy my old one back.

I guess what I'm trying to say is try to hold on to it for as long as possible, but if it has to go, try to release the sentiments with it.

Tough break Ocean. I had to sell my beloved V8S earlier this year for similar (I guess) reasons. I still miss it dreadfully but aim to buy something interesting again when finances allow.

I had to sell my beloved Griffith last summer for reasons I won't go in to , but vowed to get myself into another TVR as soon as possible. Almost a year later, and I picked up my new Tuscan S It felt even more special because of what happened before.

I hope you manage to keep hold of it, but if it's not possible then grit your teeth, do what has to be done, and console yourself by thinking about your next TVR.

Im not getting divorced or anything, that would be a good trick as Im not married. My troubles do relate to a woman however, thats as far as I can go.
