£500-£600 seems miles better value for money than some quotes I've seen in the past. I know you get what you pay for and I know you'll need a remap afterwards but even so it's a pretty decent price.
I would be interested at that kind of price.
Would also be interested to know if it's a direct fit.

Will this be the same for both the 2.5 and the 3l. And will it come with Gaskets?
And why we are on the subject, I was always led to belive the 3l exhaust will not fit a 2.5 but I have seen one fitted. I belive its the orientation of the flange to the turbo (but I'm told the turbos can be spun so they can be aligned.

Ok guys , good response !!! we are hoping it will be a direct fit without any mods to the existing pipe work , gaskets will not be a problem as i have a good supply also stainless cap head bolts with washes and nuts are not a problem also !!!
they make a jig up so they should bolt straight on no need for special fitting ,
Big question !!! will the cars need re-mapping ???? at this stage its not part of my plan !! will add a fair lump of cash to the bill !!! i was thinking that would not be needed !!

i ve put an m400 exhaust from andrewr from this site.the only problem i had was i had to use the original cat for the rear turbo as the m400 one is too shallow to fit.i still carnt for the life of me see why a fairly simple design exhaust can be so expensive.even if id won the lottery there would be absolute no way i would pay over 2k for one.600 pounds for a couple of backboxes is well enough also.ive made numerous exhausts and manifolds for friends over the years with t304 polished stainless and even the most intricate design has never been over200 pounds for materials.when my manifolds crack and exhaust expires i think the old workshop tools and jigs will make a returnAnd why we are on the subject, I was always led to belive the 3l exhaust will not fit a 2.5 but I have seen one fitted. Funny you should say that as there are people on here already in the design stage for 3l and 2.5 manifolds for less than a single noble one but for a pair.
Thanks for the Info Art, so the 3ltr one will fit and they can use my old cat if its different (I don't think the 3R one is).

another question; Whats happening with Mike Tuckwoods exhaust work? I think a few are waiting to hear about this...
It's been shuffled down the schedule a little as I'm not swapping it out until I know that it's the sticking point within the system.
We've had a (relatively easy) 650BHP through our own design single 3" system (Subaru Impreza) on a 2.5L engine, so despite the poor flow design of the factory pipework, I expect it will do quite well.
I have 2 x Turbo's (550HP rated) and bigger injectors ready to drop in, but need to put a decent clutch in first.
So far the OEM exhaust hasn't been a limiting factor in the power chasing stakes.I also need to replace my radiator which has leaked since I got the car.
So, while there are better ways to get power for a car with the factory exhaust, I anticipate changing it to a twin system at some point in the future anyway. With ever tightening track noise restrictions, consideration will also be given to dB levels and weight.
Mike.

had both the 3litre and m400 exhaust and they both fitted fine.if you havent done it before it takes around 3hrs to take off and refit as long as the studs come out fairly easyThanks for the Info Art, so the 3ltr one will fit and they can use my old cat if its different (I don't think the 3R one is).

Whoever that is please hurry up, I'm just waiting to hear if I need a new rear manifold at 430 quid plus fitting! Thanks for the Info Art, so the 3ltr one will fit and they can use my old cat if its different (I don't think the 3R one is).

Edited to add I "might" be interested in backboxes as well.Have used them before and went down to get a price for a full system last year, but by the time you'd added sports cats and the like , wasn't far off the Roush price so I left it.

Could possibly be interested. Lets not forget we will need a remap after tho.
