On the off side only on mine....protects the brake pipes that leave the bulkhead...?

None on the near side so no guard...yes/no?

Protective glasses. Optional extra fitted to TVR owners from 96 onwards. They go black in the presence of a large bill. smile

Edit: looks like yours have been kept in their case. Mine look like RayBans

It's pretty ineffective IMO, as it doesn't really protect against stones flying upwards from the tyres (where else are they going to come from?), but is quite effective at trapping mud etc.

I replaced mine with some old rubber floormats cut to shape (so the propery curve round the bottoms of the outriggers), with some eyelets that I bought from a habidashers pushing through, and then cable-tied the whole thing in place. Still doing a valient job of keeping the outriggers minty best part of a year on...

I was going to get another one made up to fit to the offside, especially as its the off side that gets the most damage from stones on the side of the road. However I may modify it so that it goes underneath the front of the outriggers.

Know what you mean...I was thinking of making a copy for the near side but then thought I would be better off being able to clean the chassis, etc and hence not have one...?

Assume its fitted to the offside just to protect the brake pipes...?

Here you go (looking a bit mucky, I'm afraid, and one of the cable-ties needs replacing, but I didn't have a fresh one to hand):

Don't get me started. The council have been resurfacing the road that leads to my garage, except that they dug it all up months ago and haven't done anything about actually putting new tarmac on.
I suppose I should be grateful they left it in a passable state at all.

It's only 100yrds or so, but at the slightest hint of moisture, it's an absolute quagmire.
