Yeah why doesn't he just take his "wheelhouse" tractor out of the garage to make room? (or are we meant to be impressed he's got one of those as well?).

A Wheelhorse is the 612 of the garden tractor world. If he was a real man he would have Scud or a 599 and a John Deer smile

That was so nearly me with my Lambo!

I had no idea until I actually got home the night I took delivery if it would actually go down my driveway into the garage (under the house)

I had my brother lying on the floor checking the front splitter for me as I inched as slowly as possible onto the flat bottom!

So very nearly the shortest Diablo ownership ever!

Its not as though the data isnt available...readit

A few months back I had the tape measure out, thinking of fitting new garage doors.
Madame (who clearly remembers my obsession with spatial clearance before buying the Esprit) remarked "You're not buying another car, are you??"

Had the expereince the other way round last year. Already had my Sagaris and bought a new house. Day we moved in, one look at the gate stop sticking up in the entrance had me reaching for the tape measure. After checking it out and reckoning 2mm of clearance someone pointed out to me that that may not be the case when I'm actually sitting in it. No problem, out came the angle grinder and now the gat stop is 15mm shorter. biggrin

Still have the car AND the house. Not sure which would have gone.

Whereas I checked ... and checked ... and checked again. I'm still hoping that one day the tape measure will read 8cm wider hehe

I'm glad it's not just me that has had the tape measure out (everyday) in preparation for my G Spyder.

So far, the garage is big enough and the door is wide enough. To be sure I've even tried to work out angles of the drive to check clearances. I've realised trigonometry is a bd. (and that I've got far too much time on my hands)

Firstly, I had never heard of driver-republic. Secondly, the article has a link to www.carfolio.com which I had also never heard of.

That makes your post the singularly most useful post ever recorded on any forum. Ever. All IMHO.

LMFAO!!!!!

There's nothing worse than a flat bottom! biglaugh

Al - I checked the best I could - comparing Diablo Clearances with my Esprit - but they have different front overhangs etc... The only way to know for certain was to just go for it and hope for the best! Rock n Roll man! winkhehe
