LE100 Mirrors

Considering changing my mirrors over to the LE100 type (VW Corrado) à la the article on BBs site here:

Trouble is a couple of phone calls to the usual sources TVR Power, etc. has brought up nothing in regards to sourcing the mounts:



They are TVR Part numbers: B1122 and B1123 (description 'Mirror spacer CE LH/RH)

Were they thrown away (along with the moulds) when the factory closed, if there were any left? The alternative seems to be to either make some from scratch or (not likely) see if someone has a pair knocking around in the garage. I wouldn't like to suggest the rather outrageous idea of removing existing mounts from an LE and using them to make new moulds!!

Any thoughts...?

TVR have the moulds and I mentioned them the last time I spoke to Ben Lang. Drop me a mail and I'll keep you up to speed when they get back to me.

I have set on my Chimaera, I seem to remember they came from TVR Car parts, maybe worth a call

Unfortunately not available from TVR Car Parts, so if anyone has any more info. on where they may be available I would appreciate the help.
