At last found and scanned the photo's of the roll cage for the Rally car.

The chassis has been tweaked since for the gearbox seen in the picture (R380 with SCCR gears) and also the Moore Racing suspension.
Lesson 1: Don't powdercoat the chassis until your 110% sure your finished working on it

Youv'e guessed -it's bolt in & it's a first rate bast**d to fit - tighter than a very tight thing. The next time it'll be fitted I hope it's the last!
Currently in a big pile in the garage

Yup - the ultimate go-cart!!!!
This only needs a seat, steering wheel, fuel tank, radiator and an ECU and I think it'll run!
Looks much better with your full roll cage though

Won't you have a few ground clearance problems with a
rallying wedge...

I'll eventully do a full Web page like Duncan when done. I have a new 4.6 Serpentine lump needing build. Body is up for grabs but I have various including a factory build Aramid SEAC nose (from the TVR factory mold). Suspension has 2" more travel than a standard wedge due to moore racing changes (Nitron long stoke fully adjustable rose jointed dampers & Eibach springs). Chassis started as a Trailing arm 350 item then straighetned, A frame added, strengthened, side bracing, roll cage, seat mouns (I don't like seat belts to chassis & seats on the GRP body - certainly not for competition - this is what nearly killed Ari Vatenen in '86 in his 205 T16), moore racing tweaks to front and rear suspension, tweaks for rose jointed TCA, etc, etc. Chassis is done but I've stalled as to do the body as a bare GRP start then add all the stuff will take ages and the engine will be circ £3-4k so have debated buying a shagg*d 450 and simply stripping out the body fitting the engine to my competition trans, dropping the stripped out body and Bob's your uncle.
Aim is Tarmac Rally but having won in the woods (sounds pervy!) I'd love to take it in there. Tony Pond took the TR8 into the forests so why not me in a Wedge As the Scandanavian's say "plenty sideways".
More to come when It's done. All positive thoughts from you Wedge heads considered.
Cheers,
