After my first blissful week-end of ownership - disaster (especially as I'm relying on the car for daily transport !).

Small crack in the top left side of the radiator.

I've read from other threads that an uneven surface at low speed could be the cause - we've got a biggesh 'hump' off the road onto our drive, to get to the garage.

What's to be done - replace or repair - any hints ?

Anyone have an idea of cost ? - I'm sure I've indicated the 'top range' to the wife - hopefully !

Can normal radiator specialists sort it out ?

Any help, really !

Thanks all.

If the crack is in the main body of the radiator it should be repairable quite simply. Normal radiator specialists will be able to do the job. When fixed make sure that they do a full pressure test before re-installing it to check there are no other leaks.

thanks,

small crack at the top left (looking from driving seat), just above the top exit - on side section, not the main core.
It's with a rad-specialist now - just waiting for some news - hopefully good !
