How do I tell which gearbox my Griff has - T5 or LT77 ?

Title says it all really, is there an easy way to tell such as location of reverse gear etc? My car is a 1995 N-registered Griff, does that indicate which gearbox it's likely to be?

Sorry if this is covered in earlier threads but the search operation is down at the moment :-s.

If reverse is to the left and up (away from you) - Rover
If reverse is to the right, opposite of 5th (towards you) - T5

Eric is spot on with this easy way to tell.The T5 was fitted from '94 so yours should be a T5
