Does anyone have any idea of some initial jet sizes i have changed the kjetronic system on the tasmin for webber dcnf carbs & will need to get it on a rolling road but i could do with some ideas as to what jet sizes i could start with to get it running half decent ?
I am not sure what cam is in the engine but it should be easy enough to find out

How many DCNF's are going on Ivor? I'm in the process of getting three of them put on mine at the moment so will know what the jet sizes are by mid next week. Have you checked that the chokes and the secondary venturis are sized correctly?I am not sure what cam is in the engine but it should be easy enough to find out
Ivor,
I have triple 42DCNFs on the M. Its being dyno'd on Monday. I can let you know what size mine are to get you started (althouigh it maybe a little rich for yours).
If you're running triple are they 42s or 40s, and do you know what sizes you have now??
Choke sizes are something that you will need to discuss with the dyno operator as they will determine power and torque characteristics.
4 cars on triple webers.... can see oil prices picking up again in the near future!!

triple dcnf 40 s. That would be great if after your dyno you could give me an idea on sizes not bothered if its too rich once i have it running i can get it on a dyno thanks lads
Ivor, if you have 30mm chokes in there then they will be too small. Larger ones are like hens teeth as they are no longer made, you may have a bit of machining to do.sarbec said:
I will measure them Dave & see what i have its been a nightmare findin 3 the manifold was easy but the carbs at the right price have been murder.
I ended up with four carbs to make 3 good ones. Got them for the right money but they will each need £100.00ish spending on them to get the chokes, venturis, jetting all correct to suit the application. Also special quadrants need making as well as a pucka linkage. On top of that, the manifold will need to be ported and matched. Its all got a bit complicated for a duffer like me so I've got an expert to do the work! Then I got to make a plenum on which to mount a big filter. Should be ready before Cadwell but not the end of the world if not, I'll just run with my existing carb.I'm just a bit worried that my fuel tank might not be big enough now!
