I hadn't spotted that. I'd also missed Jon Webster doing 9.50 bike again (this time with top fuel as the other class!)

Looking at the entry list compared to 2008, it seems the numbers are significantly down this year, pretty much across the board, but particularly in the ET classes. I guess that's just a reflection of the current economic climate, though...

Webbo kills me! Lots of drivers double entry but when was the last time you saw someone in TF do it. Cool as a cucumber.

Well sometimes you've just got to put your foot down and tell her indoors that you're treating yourself to some new toys whether she likes it or not*.

I'm going to have my mid-life crisis while I'm still young enough to appreciate it smile

* No, she obviously doesn't read these boards and yes I had to grovel like hell !

Ah, so it is THAT AM, I was wondering about the coincidence.
Good thing to do, I always like it if someone from the orga staff
has his own kind of racing experience.
Knowing things & feelings "from the other side" is something
the races & racers can only benefit from,
chief starter @SPR is a good example, too.
Hey, I even did some runs with my antique Opel Kadett (Vauxhall Chevette) estate,
after talking on the mike about "letting the clutch out at the last yellow"
I had to prove it, and did so with a best RT of .012 and no red.../brag
Have a good weekend, is that anorak ACU tested ?
Cheers,
Benni
P.S.:
familiar german names, too, Norbert Schneider with fresh 620 motor
in the well-known Corrado, and Thomas Granica with a SSB that just
won the straightliners event @ SPR (a first foreign win?)
The Werner Habermann Team have bought a TMD from the US for Dennis.

Yeah, numbers are up in Supermod as well, with Belinda Bull and Steve Green both making the transition across from super Comp and Super Pro respectfully, meaning that this is the best turnout so far for supermod for a couple of years. I don't think that numbers are down overall, I think that it is inevitable that due to the curent climate that some classes may be down on numbers, but considering everything, I think it's a damn good turnout.

Can't wait, fired the car up yesterday for the first time since we've had a load of work done, and it sounded awesome!

What about Dick Sharp entered in the Dorset Horn! There's a blast from the 1970s past.
