What watch - Ski
Discussion
I bought a Casio Riseman before I went skiing, for about £120 I think. It's great on the slopes as it has an altimeter and height recorder for you to play with. The barometer (used to calculate the altitude) is very handy too. It's also solar powered and multi-band atomic. The only negative point about this watch is that it's a quite big and if you have tight cuffs on your jacket it gets stuck under your sleeve.
It was really hard to find one in stock last xmas, I expect availability is better now.

When i go skiing, i always try and wear a watch that is as slim as possible as larger watches can get caught on the cuff and makes checking the time a real hassle. I also have a G-shock and when skiing for long periods (weeks etc) i actually wear it on the outside of my jacket (the velcro strap is very large and i have tiny wrists) this works great.
