Thanks Wiz = they are attached to my car - arrived home all the way back to Teesside (over 200 miles later 60mph average and 47mpg - obviously the Audi is not that aerodinamic) and the're still attached

the amount of stuff my poor a4 estate has lugged in the last 4 years.
I even did the same roof bar mod, those scout lashings came in useful after all. 150k miles and still pulls well, if anyones looking for a cheap motor a4 tdi are the way forward.
