I have recently sold a number of watches, including my Sinn and Stowa MO, and have a couple more on the block.

I'm actually down to about 5 watches now (OK make that seven on checking ... wink).

What should I get next?

I have a couple of things on my want to buy list: another El Primero, a JLC Reverso Duo and an Anonimo.

However, those are mostly on the pricey side and I feel I'm sort of lacking a tough knockabout watch, it has to be mechanical (no quartz) but beyond that I'm fairly open. Also I'm currently diverting major funds to another project so all big cost items are definitely deferred for now.

Obvious options are:

1. another Sinn (but I've slightly gone off them, probably its temporary)
2. a non-chrono Damasko (but actually they don't really appeal somehow, maybe I need to see on in the metal)
3. the Anonimo on my WTB list, which is a yellow dialled Millimetri ... might fit the bill ... but rare as hen's teeth?

Any other suggestions?

In case it helps I really don't like thick watches, so anything that is reasinably thin (say 12mm or less) will be more popular. Also a light dial would be good.

For reference the collection is: Oris Pointer Date; JLC master Date; G-P F1-2000; Omega Speedy Pro; Zenith El P HW; Zenith Defy GTS; Union Glashutte Klassik Gangreserve. All can be found here (you need to allow for the website not being totally up to date)

Fancy seeing you here hehe, that is a lovely collection of watches that you have on your website. If i was in your position the Girard-Perregaux F1-200 Chronograph would be getting a lot of wrist time biggrin What about a Maurice Lacroix or if you are after a cheap automatic what about one of these? http://chronomaster.co.uk/Aristo%20Watches.htm

Glycine seem to make some nice pieces too. smile

That would certainly add a certain something to my collection ... perhaps I'm a cynic but I'm not 100% convinced that's a genuine tourbillon ... wink

You bring up a point that has had me thinking for a while now. How can you tell the difference between a real tourbillon and a spinning wheel that doesn't do anything of value? Can you?
