JFGI.

Actually sorry, thats my new internet acronym of the week.

Though I can recommend an over the radiator intake as a much more effective mod.

Haha, don't worry. I thought I was doing pretty well to get a VX220 at the age of 25, then a Monaro as a 27th birthday present to myself!

No way would I have been in a position to run something like a skyline or V8 at that age, was too busy being a massively in debt stoodent! I also knew f**k all about cars at that age, I was a late comer to the church of internal combustion.

yep best present ever, sold my skyline and saved up for a while! the monaros a much better car...no more turbo lag .

i live in edinburgh, but sometimes go down south to see my parents in leeds.

ill sort out my photobucket profile and get some pics up

this is the ad for the car, even though the pics dont really do it any justice

the car runs superb, but yesterday morn the speedo needle went mad for a short while......i was doing 200mph at idle!!

Welcome youngling, saw your car last December when I was driving south through Northants. I quite like the impulse blue colour, it was a shame they discontinued it. thumbup

good to see another Scottish owner on the forums, keep an eye out for a get together we're supposed to be organising up here in the next month or two, probably up near Stirling.

ok so a 21 year old English chav who happens to live in Edinburgh - lucky you own a great car to make up for it :-)

We're few and far enough between up here as long as you live north of the border you can be any nationality, even English and qualify as a Scottish owner. Besides if you've been up here a year you must qualify to play football for the national team now. Probably more Scottish than some of the guys that will take the field at the next game lol.
