All sounds great and life is good....but..... the wife wont leave the kids twice in one month to go on "holiday" says she feels guilty so its got to be one or the other. The wife is equaly split as am I what would you do?

Have you posted this question on a boxing forum? What I'm really asking is, are you a Piston Head or a boxing fan? wink

How do you spell "Gumball"? biggrin

To the OP, of course Gumball! Once in a lifetime experience! (Unless you get hooked and want to go again of course...)

Definatily the Gumball. Isn't it only in about 45 days?

I'd love to do the Gumball, but I might have to settle for the Cannonball (or has that gone under)

Mark - No brainer!

You HAVE to come on the GUMBALL!!!!

You *know* it's going to be an awesome, once in a lifetime experience!

Ok - the boxing match would indeed be cool - but it's ONE night and 'passive' - you are watching, not doing.

The gumball is going to be 7 nights of adrenaline fuelled mayhem from LA to Miami - that's not something you do every day! 1st - 8th May

- many people wait their entire lives and never make that 'coast to coast' trip they had always dreamed of!

This is serious "deathbed memory" type stuff in the making and WHAT a gueslist so far...

Fuel Girls
Playboy Bunnies
Kat Von D (Miami Ink)
Lemmy (Motorhead - of course)
Jonny Knoxville
Bam Margera
THE Tony Hawk
Dave Mirra
VIN DIESEL

and...

*** THE HOFF! *** [quite possibly in THE Kitt again!]

Plus iirc - Orlando Bloom and Lenny Kravitz (as maybe's)

I'm pretty sure the opening night in LA is being played by NERD and the close in Miami is Ludacris or Bust Rhymes or someone equally as bonkers! Imagine all the celebs and their cars who will be turning up just to lig on YOUR run!

Just picture yourself, driving down the Californian Pacific Coast Highway in the Murci, Sun blazing, Sea Sand and Surf alongside, a car load of playboy bunnies in the car next to you, Vin Diesel in the car behind and THE - KNIGHT RIDER in front of you!!!!!

Seriously - do you need to even consider your options?!!!!! biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Can't understand what is that special about Gumball except 44k$ entry fees?
What does it make so special that you have to "be invited" to be screwed for this money? and it is not even the race...
To me it looks like the whole event is just been made that special on purpose - to get yours 44k$...

I can do "ocean to ocean" run with staying in "5 star hotels" with no probs myself... if I want nice chics - I can get much better ones than on the gumball website pictures, and they would charge much less than $500-1000 per hour. Or just take couple with me to share my trip & my hotel room

So what is so special about it except you get Gumball sticker on your car? Can someone explain me pls...

Isn't the Hatton fight part of the Gumball itinerary this year? Maybe there's no need to make a choice?

For the experience, it's got to be G3k. Plus there are at least 2 regular PHers who are helping out on it so you can boss them around biggrin

As much as admire Ricky Hatton's boxing talents, the thought of standing in amongst 5,000 Tatoo'd Manc's ( and thats the women) singing "Walking in a Hatton Wonderland" dressed like England footy hooligans, OR the Gumball Rally, it's not much of a choice is it????
