Well, it's only taken me 3.5 years to get around to putting this on Youtube but here's a view of Oulton Park from my car. Sorry that the rearview mirror is a bit of an obstruction. Just enjoy the sound instead wink

Superb...

You are a track star .. all those inferior TVR's being passed in a blur.

Sounded excellent.. but the sound did seem to disappear about 3/4 way thru.. and that rattle must drive you nuts .. sounds like the rear hood.

Red flashy light does not do 'flashy' anymore (fuel pressure gauge which has decided to pack up...)
Auto glove box - very expensive optional extra wink gives the passenger something else to worry about smile

fortunately, can't hear it with a helmet on but yes, it's bl**dy annoying on the road. The squeak is the roll cage (it's always had this bizzare resonance since being fitted) and the rattle is actually a bit of the camera mount!

Um, don't know. I'll check it. Could always be that my driving was out of time with the engine and clutch wink

Toyo T1R now but the video would have been shot when it was on Bridgestone SO3s. The Bridgestone SO2 and SO3s were always great on the car.

It's called heel and toeing....heel and toe were moving the gear stick wink I'll sort out the sound when I get a mo.. It seemed to be ok before uploading to youtube.

thanks all for the positive comments (about the driving and vid rather than the sound!)

Unfortunately the camera doesn't show the huge flames that comes out of the back of the car. They are very impressive. That was a great day and I can't believe it was nearly four years ago. That was my first, and so far only, track day. I really must try harder.

I know - it doesn't seem like 4 years ago. I remember the days (cor, I must be getting old) that I was doing 8-10 trackdays a year... Marriage, children and work have brought that down to about 1-2.. Let's aim to get out there a bit more this year and remind people what great cars the wedges are.

Any Idea of what times you was getting. I think the Tasmin racers was getting about 1.48 last year.

no idea without timing it from the video (in fast forward mode wink )

I've just timed the first lap after my warm up one and it was 2:10 which means an average of 75mph if my maths is correct. Don't know if I did anything faster later in the video.

I'd like to do one too, but would just need to edit out the crash scene at the end. hehe
