Crash bang rattle roof

Obviously having taken all the bits off the car possible in the weekend weather, I now have a myriad of banging and rattling going on in the roof (the doors I will have a go at in the garage).
It feels like it needs something like draught excluder stivking wherever possible, but am I missing something (the bleeding obvious etc). I have made sure the pins are engaged and all that jazz.

I put up with a rattle for weeks before realising the bolts on the pin holders had worked loose (the circular metal bits that the roof pins slide into). Might be worth a look ?

Also check the pins are going in all the way.
I used to have a problem that the near side rear corner of the roof would lift at about 90mph (German Autobahn).
I couldnt figure how the pin could work back out of the hole but finally figured that it was too dry and a bit grubby.
Cleaned it with WD40 and now keep a light film on the pins. its stopped my problem and keeps the roof nice and tight.

Have checked the allen bolts holding on the retaining 'receptacles' they are tight now
Cleaned up the pins with GT85 (had been working on the pushbikes) and had a good look at the roof in the cold light of the garage.
Seems to be a bit of a turd fit more round the windscreen leading edge and the offside front corner, although there's too much movement on the near-side front corner - so I'm going to have a proper play and pad-out with window insulation or stick on felt come the weekend.

That reminds me. Ian at TorqueRVT looks after my Tuscan.
He ran a length of the fluffy half of some velcro along the back face of the body panel where the rear of the roof drops in so that it was a tighter fit.
