Hi,

wife's 'new' motorway cruiser purchase is looming.

Have eyed the 330d sport touring up for a while now. They are finally reaching sensible money for sub 40 thousand mile, 3-4 year old cars.

Assuming of course its full service history and in decent overall condition are there any nightmares, big bills or don't buy one issues I need to know about?

turbo going can be common i hear. My dad used to have an '03 plate 330d saloon, was brand new when he got it, he put 84k miles on it in 3 years and NOTHING went wrong with it. I mean NOTHING. was such a great car, and reliable as a wood burning stove. after he got rid of it, he went to merc, he got rid of that now has a new M3, he's gone back to BMW, enough said.
