Just wondering what everyone thinks? Why have the Murci's prices not fallen bellow the 70k mark? They seem to have kept their value pretty well (especially considering the current climate) Do you reckon the prices are going to drop a lot any time soon. I would very much like to get one, but it is out of my price range a bit and i wouldn't particularly like to buy one and for it to loose 10k or 20k just after, it would be my luck though. laugh

Oh and also, how come there aren't very many 6.2s for sale? There's quite a few Lps but not many 6.2s?

...perhaps there aren't too many original spec. Murciélagos for sale because owners a) were never too plentiful anyway and b) were happy enough with their cars given the state of stuff lately or c) are in any case second/third owners of the car who have reached that point of purchase...

...or perhaps they are all chasing Simonspider's 100,000 mile + record mileage... they might get there, wouldn't bet on it though!

Most Lamborghinis 'settle' to a value within a few years - even newer ones. The Gallardo may have a little way to drop yet, on average, but I'd say the original Murciélago won't drop below £85k any time soon. Like Diablos they will trade at or about a 'usual' value with the exception of badly cared for and/or completely mullah'd cars or those nigh-on perfect examples.

Certainly, the traffic of Murciélago sales business may stay slight for the foreseeable... but, good luck with your search, keep reading here on PistonHeads and you'll know who/where to avoid.

Or...

(crank up the battered old gramophone... scratch... scratch...)

I wouldn't worry about losing the money in depreciation, you should think where the £10k+ per year running costs will come from smile

I have, but I wouldn't buy that car as I really don't like the interior. I'm not a fan on blue leather.

Anyway, I understand that the dealer is not everyone's favourite but could someone tell em why. Is the rude? Unhelpful? Won't give any discount? Gives terrible after sales? All of the above? laugh

109,553 David now to be exact. The engine is getting a little noisy according to our friends at Lambo Manchester. Can't think why
