I refuse to use a Sat Nav but me and the good lady are heading through France in Sept and I would like to use one.
Anyone have a Euro friendly they's like to lend me or rent out to me?

Sainsburys had TomTom sat nav's on offer at less than £50 , If you have a symbian phone , eg nokia 6600 onwards , n70 n73 n95 etc you can get a bluetooth receiver for about £20 and ' free ' software (if you know where to look) to turn the phone into a sat nav. Once you've owned and used one you'll never want to be without one.

ETA , Just noticed this is in the yorkshire section, explains a lot about not buying one :-)

Just don't press "favourites" or "recently visited" or you'll end up in Sant Agata before you know it ...

which might not be too bad a thing of course smile

Rich

I have an a iPaq with Tom Tom on it, it's a few years old but works perfectly - I have the maps of France on an SD card too. You're welcome to have the iPaq and keep it, if you want it. It has been in a box of "one day I'll use eBay" for ages now. hehe

Spare Tom Tom here too with Euro maps, albeit a few years old now.

Anyone know how I can update the maps for free?

Hello Si,

Must admit, since I cannot fit a Diablo through the doorway, a Vanquish does hold a certain appeal - I can imagine the modern day equivalent being pretty lovable!
