I am thinking of getting a Murcielago and i was wondering if you guys could help answer a few questions for me.
What's it like to drive? Obviously it's fast but is the steering heavy clutch unbearable?
What;'s the visibility like, i imagine it's pretty poor?
Do you owners use it everyday?
What's the ground clearance like compared to a gallardo? A friend of mine has got a gallardo and it's extremely low.
Obviously I'm not looking for an economical run around but what';s the MPG like?
How often does it need serviced?

Thanks for the help

They feel like any modern car. Very easy to drive.

MPG ...why do people even ask that? hehe

£80k+ on a car... who cares what mpg it does?! lol

No offence intended, but are you really thinking of getting one? So far you've been thinking about a 355, and R8 and now a Murci. You are perfectly allowed to ask us questions without posing as a potential customer.

I dont have murci experience so cant answer questions explicitly, however it would appear that most can be answered by a brief trip to a showroom (and its more fun that way too).

Rear visibility is fairly poor.
Steering was fine, haven't driven a manual.
I don't see that many in London being used everyday, this could be as it is very large but in retrospect around the same width as a Range Rover but they are reliable.
The car has a front lift system, on the LP640 there is a slight overhang compared to the 6.2.
MPG is irrelevant on a car like this.
I believe it needs to be serviced every 7500miles

Much easier to drive than a diablo, later cars have amazing brakes (can't speak for 02-05 models), feels roomy inside, clutch and gear changes easy, steering light, amzingly quick, suspension lift system very effective.

Get a roadster and the visibility is 360 degrees if you're 6'3" !! wink

Well to be honest I am not sure what to get, but yes i am thinking of getting one. The reason I've asked about R8s 355 etc is because I am thinking about getting rid of my car and moving in to one of them. I am just very indecisive and am not sure what to get.

They're all massively different cars.

First things first, you need to decide what YOU want from a car

Why not go for a 430 / 360 cs?

Depends what you want out of it IMO.

430 fits the job nicely for me.

Hmmmmm - Do you own one??

They do have good visability - The only time it gets iffy is when reversing in the dark. Other than that their fine.
MPG - 17 taking it easy - 5 booting it!!
All I know is mine gets serviced every year - no frightening bills yet - £1500 per year I think.
The car does have a nose lift system so good clearance.

But forget all that st as it really doesn't matter. Ask any Lambo Countach, Diablo, Murci owner and we'll tell you its all about the driving experience;);)

Don't own oneconfused, but have driven a few when I was parking the car found the rear visibility difficult especially compared to my 911.
