Central locking reset?
Discussion
I have a slight problem with the central locking on my Seat Toledo; when I use the remote to unlock the car, only the drivers' door unlocks and I have to unlock the other doors by either pressing the internal unlock button on the drivers door or by using the key in the door. All the doors lock fine when using the remote key though

Given that all of the doors lock etc, I would assume it's not a problem with the locks themselves. I have tried double clicking the unlock button but that doesn't help either. Any ideas? Could the system just be out of sync and need a reset?
Thanks for any help.

Try pressing the unlock button twice in quick succession, lots of vw's seat's etc are setup for selective unlocking
one press drivers only
two presses all doors
I have tried this but sadly it didn't work. Any other ideas? one press drivers only
two presses all doors
Thanks.
I had this problems years ago, was my first post on pistonheads!
To solve you just have to get the dealer (or someone with VAG COM) and get them to change the setting.
If your toledo has the 'highline' computer (as in this picture http://photo.netcarshow.com/Seat-Toledo_2005_photo... ) you may be able to change it yourself by going into the convience menu.

Thanks for the info guys. Just came back from my local Seat stealer and they want £35 per half hour worth of labour "assuming nothing else is wrong". I suggested it should only take 5-10 minutes with vag-com to which they replied it would take them that long just to get the car hooked up to vag-com
Will have to try local auto electricians and see if they have vag-com.

Lieing basta***, I saw the guy do it infront of me, he simply plugged it in tapped a few things on the touch screen tablet and I had anti-hijacking, single door unlock on first click, done in a few minutes if that! (FOC by the way)

In my manual it says that the dealer will be happy to change the settings to unlock all doors, which they were! I assume Seat is the same.

Looks like a dealer visit is in order.
