BG Developments will do you the rotors - 330x28mm is a standard AP size and the TVR bell is also a standard bolt pattern of 12 bolts on a 7" PCD from memory. You just space the caliper out 4mm and you're done. The issue is that the rotors + bolt kit and pads are not cheap, the standard TVR one piece disc offering is ~ half the cost and the fitting will also cost you more with the two piece route.

I'm watching this topic closely.

I seriously need to sort something out as my discs aren't going to last forever (in fact they will probably be lucky to see out the rest of this year if I do many track days this year).

Mine's a 4.2 but I'm thinking I may end up going the separate bell and disc route as well.

I'll watch with interest .....

Oh, and if some of us get this sorted let's not forget to update the equivalent parts thread. smile

Interesting, will also watch this for when my 330mm need replacing. Mine were actually 32mm milled down to 30mm, as the ap's will take 30mm gives yo 2mm more life on the discs before replacement.

I run them on the Griff and I've been doing some hard stops. Can't complain so far.

Are yours actually running out or does it just feel like it? It could be pad material on the discs if you stopped hard and didn't cool the rotors.

There is plents of life left in the disc's and i have done a few 100 miles since so i doubt its pad on the disc... Just cooked them I think and didnt let them cool before stopping

If you are upgrading remember you can go 343mm if you want.

Just a little shave on the inside edge of the caliper is required, just to get it to sit flat enough to get all the pad on the track.

Mine have a slight judder after Castle coombe last year.

What's the front replacement options for a standard 4.2?

Mine too - it's now really horrible. I've been worrying about it for a couple of weeks now, but finally accept that this is the reason. Gone from a very slight vibration to a boneshaker in 3 weeks - and I'm not a hard braker, but I've obviously done something they haven't liked. My discs are 2.5 years old (18,000 miles ish).

So I also watch this thread with keen interest, seems like there could be rush! wink

Isn't there a stabiliser bar bush on the Cerb that can cause the judder too? Us Griff boys don't have one...

Is the juddering through the pedal or the steering? Turned out what
I thought was warped front discs was actually rather tired rear discs.

I had spent an age on suspension, wheels checking discs etc all at the front end
when a simple (but expensive) disc change at the back fixed it.

Mine has a slight judder when cold , but fine once warmed up. Standard discs with red stuff pads.

The judder may also be form a bent suspension bolt or a worn bushing.

Hopefully we can fully sort the source for brakes this time.

This thread appears every few months and it would be nice to have a definite answer and put it on the list.
