Nice looking car, and a late one by the reg...... look after it.

but please, unless you intend keeping chickens in it, its a Coupe, not a coop.

coop is just a nickname the owners club have given the cars but coupe from now on lol

i think the car was registered as Y reg because it sat in the showroom and was not registered till the very end of COUPE production maybe?? too be honest cant think of any other reason ?? any ideas ?

Still looks good, although you should have bought a sprinty cos they're faster. wink

Nae luck mate, that's going to make checking the oil tricky. biggrin
Get the belts, tensioners, water pump and thermostat done at the same time.*

  • Default coupe maintenance response.
PS Checked the oil recently?

One of my favorite cars of all time. You'd never think the same bloke who penned that also did the Baboons arse BMW range. 669 in the number plate another one of my favorites. Having seen yours I've just bought a P reg one for £300.

I definitely think it must be an earlier car which has been registered late for some reason - all later cars had body coloured sills. Also the alloys and radiator grille are the earlier style.
Still a gorgeous motor though! I adored my 20VT, took a very special car to convince me to change it.
