Ok sorry, my mistake. But I am so happy that I own Monaro but I am not that happy that my first post is about parts. Maybe any other second hand parts?

How come you need to parts? Did you buy it damaged or hit something?

Best of luck, monkfish can prob source most bits you need but they will need to know the model, they did have my old black bonnet but it was from a GTS so no nostrills.

Hi

I'm selling a black bonnet, no nostrils - £300. Email me at donadio@btinternet.com if you're interested.

Import tax is appx 5% for car parts and you'll pay a customs fee maybe £20. Used parts or classic parts will be less and maybe no duty at all. Then you'll pay vat on top of the shipping fees and all the other costs. Basically estimate 20% on top of all the initial costs and you won't get any nasty surprises.

So by picking a cheaper shipping method then UPS you will save you money in two ways smile Take the slow boat.

I don't know if stuff from Oz has a higher duty rate ie 10% as I don't buy from there. I'd have thought it would be the same rate be it from USA or Oz.

and am I not correct in saying they wont ship airbags by air anyway - something to do with explosives and planes falling out the sky?
