Been loking at this car for a few days says rare in what aspect is it rare and do you experts think the price is right any help will be gratfully accepted.

The ad says it's an AMG, which it isn't really, its a CLK230K with AMG styling options - doesn't make it a bad car, just don't buy on the basis of it being an AMG when it isn't! It looks very expensive for a 99' CLK230K with those miles, bodykit and designo leather or not. It's by no means a rare car, just some rare options perhaps.

If you like it for what it is, and can get it for a lot less than sticker price however, it is an indiviudal car!

ETA. a quick autotrader search as I'm curious finds that that sort of money could see you in a 2003 230K Sport with far less miles, no blue leather or bodykit however!

I amnot convinced that the interior truly is "Designo". The embroidered stars on the headrests certainly are not.
