It's time to get a new day to day car. I have looked at various things and keep coming back to the Granturismo, so any one got one or had one and if so what did you think of it?

What is the best daily ride car the standard or the S?

Any feed back appreciated?

Thanks

I own a non S version and think its brilliant day to day.
Rear legroom is great for passengers but boot is sacrificed a little
Rare, good looking and reliable (so far !)

Spent a few days with a standard one recently. Did some motorway work, B-roads and town driving. It's a big car and feels it in my opinion. I was therefore somewhat disappointed by the ride. I found even cruising along the motorway not very comfortable. I also thought about getting one, but wouldn't after that experience. It looks great, the interior is very nice, you get lots of appreciative attention, can genuinely seat 4, but wouldn't live with it day to day personally.

I also found the regular version a little lacking but am just about to pull the trigger on the S, which is a totally different car. I will also be using it day to day most of the time, check it out. Good luck.

I drive a standard model and have had it since launch, in my view it is one of the few 'exotic' cars that can be used as a daily driver. Plus points are refinement, auto box quality and of course the looks, minus points are brakes (abysmal cold and just OK when warm) and the slight lack of torque. I've driven an S and it is a better car but personally I couldn't live with the gearbox day to day.

A few reliability niggles (EPB failure, dash fitment and indicator self cancelling u/s) all sorted under warranty but it feels basically very well built and I love it.

the S sounds extraordinary. as i said earlier though i think the one to go for will be the S auto when its launched - from a residual and ease of use point of view. slightly different styling to the S also looking at the website:
