As title says just bought a new tin top and noticed some scratches in the windscreen anyone got any tips to remove them other than replacing windscreen which I dont want to do.

Depends on how deep they are, but there's scratch repair kits on ebay with all the necessary bits, you've only to supply the water and drill.
Alternatively, jewellers' rouge and the same high density felt drill attachment.

toothpaste will also remove scratches from glass. but watch what you're doing as it's very abraisive. i used this to sort out the all too common scratches on the front door glass on my impreza.

enough to catch with my very chewed finger nails lol.

Have tried toothpaste seems to have some effect will have to put a bit more elbow grease to it or buy some dearer toothpaste.
