This particular PH is just up the road from the A10/M25 turnoff and I would of thought it would be simple enough, and an excuse for a ride out for the Herts, Beds Bucks boys, and girls to come down.

What is it with you lot?

I get one car out most every weekend, come rain or shine.

Anything for an excuse.

These cars are meant to be driven

if the family object to spending time out in the car, just pretend you're going to all the garden centres in Crews Hill wink. Depending what time I get back from a rugby tournament, I may try to come along

Hi Cirks,

Your car looks good. Hope you can make it down. Now a little later in the afternoon. Check the link above towards the end.

Leigh,

I think it is you I phoned a few weeks ago regarding bringing my car down to try those nice tall and wide split rims on my car.

I've decided to get my existing OZ's refurbished to not only keep the wheels in good condition but to tidy up the overally look of the car for this years shows etc but I do want to go taller and wider if they will fit my SEAC.

Have just ordered a set of Steve Heath's rear dop links to give me a little extra room.

I'll have them fitted first.

Thanks - the camera always lies.... wink To be honest, it needs quite a lot of tidying but over the years I've had it, the money has gone on keeping on track and working more than on being concours! Hope to see you on Sunday though.

Yes may have been me, I Think I have 11 x 16" (9 are 9J's and 2 are 10J's) and 10 x 15" oz wheels (that includes the 4 on the 400SE) plus another 10 Compomotive wheels. I thought I had 2 x 15" 7J's but they turned out to be 8J's with 205 tyres.

Also if you want some extra room at the back you can fit some Steve Heaths rear Tie Bar's

Sadly there are two hopes of seeing my car on Sunday and one of them is Bob.

I'll be in the family car dogs and all .. probably.

Leigh,

Don't know why I stated drop-links when I meant tei rods/bars.

He states I should get an extra 12mm space at the rear.

If I'm going to increase size of rim from the current 8.5" x 15" OZ's and because my fibreglass is thinner than your spin and, because I have adjustable spring hangers all round and, becuase I'm mad, I want maximum rubber on the tarmac for that 'get the fk out of my way' look.

I have this on the De Tomaso which came with the factory GTS wide-arch and wide wheel option of 10" x 15" rears, 8 x 15" fronts Campanolo magnesium alloys, 285/40/15's and 225/50/15's respectively - nice.

You've not seen the thickness of the fibreglass on the racer then. its less than 1mm. you can flop about in your hands when not bolted down.

your welcome to come any time to try the wheels. (well as long as I'm in)
