Not that I am a cocker-knee or anything but I think it was rhyming slang:

"Do you think I am a Barclays Banker because I have bought this plate"

Alright treacle

Hello OP and well done on your purchase. Can I ask if you also considered the Gallardo Spyder, and if so, what made you go for the F430?

That's a great question and one that I asked myself,I don't know why but looking at both cars the Ferarri just did it for me.

Call it art, character, appeal etc, hard to say why but it was just that way.I could have bought a slightly newer Lambo for a bit less so surley the Lambo had to feature strongly but it just didn't.

Maybe it was the Red/Cream thing which you won't find on the Lambo.

I felt ok getting the money out for the Ferrari but could not justify in my own mind or find the desire to part with the cash for the Lambo, there we go I surpose.

Is it that back of the mind doubt about re sale and service costs on the Lambo.

Maybe too Audi, too much of a production car feel to it?

I hope that helps and still very pleased with the route I took!
