I'd just like to say a quick thank you to Ant,Roger, and Andy for the thoroughly professional work that was carried out on my car yesterday. I would also like to thank you for the road test in your demo. The road response pack is a must for all monaro owners as is a visit to your workshop.

My first visit too,

Impressed by the difference that the remap made on my 04 CV8 really good value for money !

Will be saving up for the road response pack now (I was told this was going to be expensive and addictive)

Porrohman - I know driving feel is purely subjective, but I am keen to hear what difference the RR pack made to your specific car.

I have an 04 VXR as well, and according to HSV literature they had improved the suspension on it over the standard Monaro. I have no idea what they actually did however.

Given you have first hand experience of the improvement on the 'rarest and best' model hehe, your opinion would be great to hear while it was still fresh in your mind smile

Oops, just re-read the thread... Doh! rolleyes

I guess your car wasn't in for the road response pack (yet!). Has anyone else got first hand experience with their 04 VXR (or a customer's car wink )

HSV still had to be all things to all men and I think you will find that any mods they did were mediocre. They have to have compliant suspenders for the bulk of their market. My ute is HSV and I think the suspenders will be very similar to yours, so I can tell you that these mods from Monkfish do makea real difference and are good value for money..

BTW Nice to meet you yesterday Al and Sorted 002. Also thanks to the fish for intsalling my Trutrac so quickly while I waited. And yes it was worth it.

Dropped mine in today for a couple of things. I used to have 205 GTi's, and a great aspect of ownership was dealing with a particular specialist who was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgable, and honest, and Monkfish has exactly the same feel. It's great to know you can take it somewhere where it's in the best possible hands.

I'm not going anywhere near their demo cars lol.

It's not your choice.

They plot your buying and posting activity and when they see a lull, they casually drop the keys in your hand and say "Go on, one go, what harm can it do? All your mates are doing it.........."

driving

And thats that.

Do you know, I think they tried to get me with that one, because that's exactly what happened. Fortunately I had a lift organised!
