I know book prices are a little variable at the minute, but is there anyone with a latest Glasses guide that could give me the prices on this ?.

BMW 120d M Sport
June 06 registered (06 plate)
Sparkling grpahite
Standard other than comfort pack, Pro CD.
FBMWSH
54,000 miles

Was recently offered £9,250 from a mini dealer against a Cooper S (new), which seems low, especially when one of V8mates auction lists showed one going through at £13,700 (albeit with 25k miles)

Try the car valuation service via the Vauxhall/Network Q used car site - it's powered by Glasses Guide values and will give you a reasonably accurate book value. Apparently it's one month behind the actual paper copy, so I've heard, but it's free.

Of course, I've got no idea if cars are fetching book price at the moment though...

Andy - I would strongly suggest you shop around a bit before taking a deal. I traded in my 130i recently and the best trade in I was offered was over £1000 better than the worst - this was against similar value cars. I think it very much depends on how keen they are to shift what they've got for sale.

As it happens I ended up selling it privately (through Autotrader - very easy and quick) for £1000 more than the best trade in so I wouldn't rule that out unless you're terminally lazy !

And, Andy, as a buyer of the same car a week ago, Glasses are way out on the current selling value. These cars prices have just gone through the roof. Even BMW are buying way above book at auction just to get stock.
Hold out.

to be honest I was curious hence getting a value, in reality i'm running it till October at least.. then I will have the other option of handing it back as well.

I'm sure I could get more privately like you say, and would always try that first anyway.

Daft thing is the dealer was explaining how they were struggling for stock and also talked about auction values rising.
