I fancy going somewhere with atmosphere in Dubizzle to watch the GP on Sunday. Can anyone recommend somewhere? Preferably (although not necessarily) with the British commentary?

Going to watch the re-run at Aussie Legends in Satwa at 8pm in the evening tomorrow, if that's of any help.

Just a pain in the arse trying to keep away from the news all day frown

I gave up in the end, just sat at work with the BBC news updates ticking away. Damn Fri/Sat weekends.

In other news, Abu Dhabi GP tickets on sale tomorrow, anyone else going? Tempted by the 2000AED 3 day tickets.

We looked at getting a table/box - but can't justify the large expense in the current climate. Fingers crossed for invites though wink

I'been a good boy and avoided, so far, any mention of the GP.

The 2k tickets do look good I have to say.

I went to the F1 Net Cafe on Jumeirah Beach Road in the end. Packed, but good - shame I'll be working for most of the rest of the season's races!

Actually, looking at Yas Circuit Map - the main grandstand doesn't have very good views - the ones around the hairpins look good, and are 500aed cheaper!

Yeah - it's a real bummer.

The only ones you get to see 'live' are Cannda & Brazil although I do mysteriously seem to have a meeting with XXX at excatly the same time as the British GP.

I'm taking the day off to go to Ab Dabs so I'm going to definately see that one at least!

Did you get set seats?

I'll probably try for there as well.

Not sure, we booked through this site, as the official site said it was sold out or was just playing up.

Cool! Just booked ours as well - 2 tickets, upper tier in the South Stand as well smile

SOUTH GRANDSTAND - Level 30 Sector S-07 - J36
SOUTH GRANDSTAND - Level 30 Sector S-07 - J37

Dunno exactly where they are but should be fine - I wanted to make sure that the missus got a good view of as much of the track as possible, hence going for the upper tier. She's a GP virgin.
